Bozeman Running Company opened its doors in 2010 in downtown Bozeman. In 2025, our second door opened in downtown Kalispell as Flathead Running Company. But like all stories, the journey started well before then.

From the Start


Casey Jermyn (owner) grew up in Plains, Montana. As a Plains High School freshman, Casey didn’t really like running. Well, fast forward to college, he made his way to Bozeman to become a Montana State Bobcat distance runner (he won’t tell you, but his accomplishments are noted in the Bobcat Hall of Fame). Now, Casey gives back and enjoys his time as a coach for the Bozeman High School Hawks Cross Country and Distance Track teams.

If you’ve met Casey before, you know that he has an infectious spirit and quite bountiful energy (truly, just skip our story and read Leading the Pack by Maury Wiegand→ ). Life lead him to open Bozeman Running Company and later a second location closer to his home roots, Flathead Running Company.

To this day, we are proud to remain open as an independent, specialty retailer serving as your one-stop shop for all of your running and walking needs.
